How Much Does CCTV AMC Cost in Barrackpore? All Plans Explained

After getting a CCTV camera installation in Barrackpore, many customers ask: "Do I need an AMC? What does it cost?" This guide explains Annual Maintenance Contracts, the plans available, and why an AMC is a smart investment for any CCTV system in North 24 Parganas.

What is a CCTV AMC?

An Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) is a yearly service agreement where a qualified technician visits your premises at regular intervals to service cameras, clean lenses, check cable connections, test recording, and ensure your CCTV security cameras system is working at peak performance.

CCTV AMC Cost in Barrackpore — 2026

Basic AMC — ₹1,500/year (4-camera system): 2 service visits per year, camera lens cleaning, connection check and system health report. Standard AMC — ₹2,500/year: 4 quarterly visits, full DVR and camera cleaning, recording test, mobile viewing test, 10% discount on parts. Premium AMC — ₹4,000/year: All quarterly visits plus emergency callouts, firmware updates, free minor parts replacement and 20% discount on major spares.

Why You Need a CCTV AMC in Barrackpore

Barrackpore's climate — heat, humidity and occasional dust — is hard on outdoor cameras. Without regular servicing, lens fogging, connector corrosion and cable degradation are common after 18–24 months. An AMC prevents these issues before they cause complete camera failure. AMC customers also get priority support — same-day service for any faults.

What is NOT Covered Under AMC

Physical damage to cameras (theft, vandalism, lightning strike), damage from power surge without UPS, and complete camera or DVR replacement due to end-of-life are not covered. However, AMC customers get a 5%–10% discount on all replacements.
